Vivian Lombillo, MD, PhD is a board certified dermatologist in Olympia, Washington. Her private practice is Northwest Pediatric Dermatology. She specializes in pediatric dermatology and has expertise in conditions related to skin, hair and nails such as birthmarks, acne, atopic dermatitis (eczema), moles, other growths, psoriasis, warts, other skin infections, hair loss and the range of dermatology issues in kids.
What ages does Dr. Lombillo see at Northwest Pediatric Dermatology?
From newborn to 18 years old.
I'm over 18, can I schedule an appointment?
No, sorry the age limit for new patients in this office is 18.
Which insurances do you take?
Our office accepts Regence and Tricare for NEW and ESTABLISHED patients.
For ESTABLISHED patients on other insurance, we will submit the claim to your insurance in 2020.
For NEW patients on other insurance, payment is due at the visit and families are given a receipt and information to submit their claim for reimbursement. A NEW visit is $225 and each procedure, like a biopsy or a wart treatment, is $150.
What should I expect from the visit?
Northwest Pediatric Dermatology is a patient centered micro-practice. It differs from other offices in that there is no 'front desk'; the visit is only with the doctor. For this reason, visits are by appointment only. All paperwork is completed securely online before the visit. Families arrive at their scheduled time - no need to come early. The doctor will greet you in the main waiting area at your appointment time.
At the visit there will be enough time to address your concerns, perform most procedures as needed and learn about your child's condition. After the visit, families can reach Dr. Lombillo using a HIPAA-secure text app for questions on the same issue.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Families book online at our secure and user-friendly site (see link below). The information you enter creates the patient medical record - so please use the child's name from the beginning. Booking is quick, easy and can even be done on a smart phone. The visit is confirmed once we receive the secure online intake form that allows us to confirm coverage and prepare for the visit.
Need a sooner appointment? Add your child to the wait list. First complete an available booking, then click the 'add wait list request' button and put in days and times that work for the family.
For non-urgent questions or help scheduling, please call the office and leave a message. All calls are returned within 1-2 business days.
I'm 17, does my parent have to come to the appointment?
Yes, your privacy is respected during the visit, but a parent or legal guardian must be present for visits with patients who are not yet 18. Unfortunately, if a minor arrives to the visit without a parent or legal guardian, we will need to re-schedule.
I represent a pharmaceutical company - may I drop by the office to talk with the doctor?
We respectfully request no visits from company representatives to Northwest Pediatric Dermatology. If the doctor has questions about any product or medication, she will review the medical literature and/or reach out to the company directly for information.
